Researchers investigating strategies for successful telecommuting have come up with some surprising conclusions. Studies show that extraverted, chatty workers are more likely to be effective remote workers. Extremely organized workers are also more likely to succeed when they're working from home.

New college grads often find their resumes are filled with up-to-date skills but short on practical experience.
